This museum is located in Leopoldsburg, the most important garrison town in Belgium. It mainly deals with operation Market garden. A decisive battle during WW II, which was prepared in Leopoldsburg. If you have an interest in history, this is certainly worth your visit!

The Mining museum
Het Mijnmuseum tells the story of the mines and mining in Limburg. The new museum opened in april 2012 and is highly interactive, with testimonials, a huge touchscreen and lots of audio and moviefragments.
The Hoge Kempen National Park
The Hoge Kempen National Park covers 5700 ha and stretches across the a large part of the province. The Hoge Kempen is the largest woodland and nature reserve in Flanders.
